DATAWIZ-IN SCHOLARS PROGRAM
Indiana University (IU) at Indianapolis invites motivated undergraduate and graduate scholars to join the National Library of Medicine funded Datawiz-IN Scholars training program and gain hands-on research experience to offer a competitive edge for furthering careers in biomedical sciences.
The Datawiz-IN Scholars Program engages students through a fully-funded summer research internship to gain hands-on skills and experience one-on-one mentorship with faculty. Students spend their time learning research skills including computational and data science approaches necessary for modern biomedical research, attending lab meetings, and interacting with other labs members. Each student is mentored by a faculty mentor and solve real problems in a research laboratory.
PROGRAM BENEFITS:
- Competitive stipend (up to $4,000)
- Tier 1 research with distinguished faculty
- Student poster symposium
- Travel funding for non-Indiana residents
- On-campus housing
